Health Science Library's reflection room (2101D) is for use by UA students, faculty, residents/fellows, and staff.
The reflection room is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please display the "in use" sign while using the room. Return the sign to "open" when you leave.
Rules for using the room:
- The Reflection Room is for silent reflection.
- The Reflection Room is not to be used as a study space or sleeping area.
- The Reflection Room is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please display the "OPEN/ IN USE" sign while occupying and departing the room.
- No use for organized services or scheduled reoccurring events are permitted.
- Please respect others while the room is in use and limit your stay to 30 minutes if others are waiting.
- Electronic devices must be silenced.
- Food and beverages are prohibited; water is permitted.
- No candles, incense burning, or other smoke, fume, fragrance, or flame-inducing elements are permitted.
- Room furnishings placed in the room by the Library must remain in the room. Other library furnishings shall not be moved into the room.
- Personal items brought into the Reflection Room to aid in reflection practice must be removed by the person who brought them in. Users shall return the space to its original setup when you leave.
- The Library is not responsible for items left in the room.
- The code of conduct will be used to enforce the Reflection Room policy.
- Anyone in violation of the policy will be asked to leave the room by Library administrators, faculty or staff, and/ or university authorities. Repeated violations may result in banning individuals from the space.
