Reflection room policies

Health Science Library's reflection room (2101D) is for use by UA students, faculty, residents/fellows, and staff for quiet reflection.

The reflection room is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please display the "in use" sign while using the room. Return the sign to "open" when you leave.

Rules for using the room:

  • Silence electronic devices.
  • Respect others while the room is in use and limit your stay to 30 minutes if others are waiting.
  • Do not use as a study space or sleeping area.
  • Do not use for organized services or scheduled reoccurring events.
  • Do not bring food or drink, except water.
  • Do not burn candles or incense, or bring other smoke, fume, fragrance, or flame-inducing elements.
  • Keep room furnishings in the room and do not move other library furnishings into the room.
  • Return the space to its original setup when you leave.
  • The Library is not responsible for items left in the room.

We will use our code of conduct to enforce these policies. Anyone in violation will be asked to leave. We will ban repeat violators from the space.
