What can you do at CATalyst Studios?

At CATalyst you can:

  • Explore and use our equipment, including laser cutters and 3D printers
  • Attend our events and workshops to learn new maker skills, like 3D modeling and sewing 
  • Create your own media and projects in our spaces, including podcasts and videos
  • Get certified in 3D printing, laser cutting, and embroidery

We're open to everyone! You don't need previous experience to use our spaces, equipment, and technology to create innovative projects. Our staff is here to support you and your next project.

While we focus on working with students at the University of Arizona, community members are also welcome to use our spaces and equipment. We invite instructors to bring your class to CATalyst Studios for hands-on learning opportunities.

CATalyst Studios internship

Do you like problem solving, learning new tech, and collaborating with others? Consider joining our team as an intern! Our internship is open to students from all experience levels and majors.

As an intern, you'll build skills in our makerspace and collaborate on projects with CATalyst Studios staff.
