Geospatial science uses spatial data to better inform decision making around phenomena that have a geographic context allowing individuals to better understand spatial patterns, relationships, and associations in their data. It is a multifaceted and visual approach that uses a number of techniques including data wrangling, spatial statistics, data modeling, and/or cartographic design to answer questions related to proximity, connectivity, and suitability.
