The Health Sciences Library helps you provide print and electronic library resources to your students in support of your instructional objectives.
Journal articles and book chapters
- Here is an overview to help you find and use course materials
- Find articles in the library's ejournal collection by searching databases or going directly to an ejournal by searching for its title
- Locate selected etextbooks in the health sciences in the Health Sciences Library collection. Also, use the library search for all ebooks licensed by the UA.
- Construct direct links for journal articles and ebooks in the library collection to place within your course page in D2L or AZMed. Use the direct link generator to create links that work.
- Obtain digital copies of journal articles and book chapters that the library owns only in print or doesn't own at all by requesting them through interlibrary loan. Copies will be delivered as PDFs. These can be uploaded to the server then linked from your course page.
- Articles and book chapters not owned by the Health Sciences Library or UA Libraries may also be requested through interlibrary loan. This material may only be used for one semester without permission from the copyright holder.
