Library card user agreement
Policies
I acknowledge that my University of Arizona community library card will only allow me to check out up to 25 books, journals, maps or documents, and place holds on materials. Items typically renew automatically every 21 days.
I acknowledge that my University of Arizona community library card will not allow remote access to digital resources, login to student computers, Interlibrary Loan services, room reservations, technology checkouts, or building access outside of public hours.
I acknowledge that if someone else requests a library item I have, I must return that item. I acknowledge that if I fail to renew my library card, or a fee occurs on my account, I must return the items I have checked out.
Collections costs
I acknowledge, understand, and hereby agree that I am solely responsible for any and all collection costs (including reasonable attorney fees) charged by an external collection agency for the collection of any amount not paid when due and further authorize The University of Arizona to add all collection costs to the balance of my unpaid obligation. The University of Arizona may at its sole discretion utilize the services of an external collection agency or law firm to collect any remaining unpaid portion or balance owed on library fees and charges.
