About library cards
If you are a UA student, staff, faculty, or Designated Campus Colleague, your CatCard is your library card and you automatically get library access.
If you are affiliated with certain academic institutions or membership organizations, you might get a free library card. Everyone else is welcome to purchase a library card.

Apply for a library card
To renew or apply for your library card, no need to come in, just fill out the online application. Library staff will respond within 72 hours when your renewal’s complete or when your new card is ready to pick up and use.

Loan policy for non-UA affiliates
Most materials renew automatically every 21 days up to one year as long as your account is current, in good standing and no one else requests items you have.

Computer access
Library cardholders can get a free computer card to use our guest computers in the Main Library. All visitors can access library resources anywhere on campus by connecting to UAGuest Wireless.
Lost cards
Contact us right away if you lose your library card to prevent others from using your account.
