Correspondence and other papers relating to the operation and financing of the mine at Jerome, Ariz. Letters are chiefly from Eugene Jerome, secretary-treasurer of the company, and Frederick Murray, agent and mine superintendent, many concern the actions of Frederick Tritle, ex- Governor of Arizona, in regard to the mine.
Copper company, Jerome Mining District, Yavapai County, Ariz.; organized in 1882 by Fred Thomas, George Treadwell, and Eugene Jerome. The company was sold to W.A. Clark in 1889.
