The Poisoned Pen Press records consist of manuscripts, advanced reader copies, cover designs, signed published books, and other materials relating to the book development process. Series are organized by the year of accession, as received from Poisoned Pen Press.
Poisoned Pen Press is located in Scottsdale, Arizona and was founded in 1997. The Press is an independent publisher of mystery novels, and founder Robert Rosenwald continues to serve as President. Since Poisoned Pen Press’ inception, Barbara Peters has served as the Editor-in-Chief and she is the owner of the Poisoned Pen Bookstore. In 2008, both were recipients of the Lifetime Achievement Award of the Bouchercon Crime and Mystery Conference. Rosenwald and Peters were also bestowed the Poirot Award by the Malice Domestic Board of Directors, and were recipients of the ElleryQueen Award at the 2010 Mystery Writers of America annual event.
