This collection includes 36 black and white 8x10” photographs from her two series created in Tucson in 2020: “Life in the Time of Coronavirus” (24 prints), and “After George Floyd” (12 prints).

Historical background

Leslie J. Yerman has been capturing images as a photographer most of her adult life. She is drawn to images that capture settings where natural and man-made worls meet, with a special focus on the sky and trees, and environment in general. In 2020, Yerman created the series "After George Floyd," which captures images of Downtown Tucson after protests. Her 2020 series "Life in the Time of Coronavirus" depicts strong images of settings, individuals, and the enviroment as it has been affected by Covid-19.
