Arizona Architectural Archives
Collection area: Arizona and Southwest
The Arizona Architectural Archives was established in 1976 at the College of Architecture Library at the University of Arizona to preserve and make available documentation about prominent architects, builders, and architecturally significant structures in Arizona. After the closure of the College of Architecture Library circa the mid-2000s, collections were dispersed to several locations including the University of Arizona Libraries and the Arizona Historical Society. The bulk of the holdings transferred to UA Libraries Special Collections consists of professional papers, project, and office records related to significant architects, architectural practices, and builders active in Arizona in the 20th century.
