As a provider of web content at a public university, the University of Arizona Research Data Repository (ReDATA) is subject to web accessibility regulations issued by the Department of Justice (DOJ) under Title II and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) under Section 504. The updated regulations require web content, mobile applications, and social media content comply with the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. All submissions published in ReDATA on or after May 11, 2026 are required to be compliant. ReDATA staff will assist depositors in making their submissions compliant before and during the curation review process. To request an accessible version of materials published before May 11, 2026, please submit a request. We will respond to you within two business days to provide you an estimate of when the remediation will be completed.
