Jennifer Martin receives 2023 AACP Award
Jennifer Martin, R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy Liaison Librarian, received the 2023 American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) Drug Information and Library Sciences Section Best Publication Award.
The award was presented at the Annual Meeting in Aurora, Colorado. The winning publication, co-authored with Dr. Robert Beckett and two pharmacy students, Curtis Stump and Megan Dyer, “Evaluation of drug information resources for interactions between therapeutic drugs and drugs of abuse,” was published in the Journal of Medical Library Association.
The Best Publication Award is awarded for “scientific rigor, contribution to the literature that presents new or innovative strategies to advance drug information and medical library science education within the fields of pharmacy, and impact that shows immediate and/or long-range potential to provide a positive impact and practical applications to a variety of drug information and medical library situations."
