Would you like to more seamlessly integrate information literacy in your classes to improve students’ research and writing skills? 

The University Libraries is offering a 5-day mini-course for faculty on teaching information literacy using inclusive pedagogical practices. To be considered for participation, please complete the application.

• An experienced instruction librarian will work with you to develop or re-design assignments, activities, and lessons for your students.
• A library-funded grant provides support for this session that will compensate participants with a stipend of $200 upon completion of the course. The grant funding is for using this mini-course as a program improvement study.
• This is a fully online asynchronous learning experience in which participants can expect to spend 1-2 hours per day exploring content and completing activities, which will culminate in submitting a short capstone assignment.
• Participants must also complete brief pre and post-assessment surveys. 

Faculty participants finish the mini-course with a revised course design plan with new activities. This mini-course is offered in D2L in a partnership between the University Libraries and the University Center for Assessment, Teaching and Technology.
