When

10 a.m. – 2 p.m., March 1, 2026

Join us for our second partnership event between the Tucson Repair Cafe, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and volunteer-run space, and CATalyst Studios. We will be in the main makerspace, located in the Main Library.

What is a repair cafe?

It’s where you can get your broken items fixed for free with help from community volunteers!

  • All items welcome, including appliances / electronics, clothes, and furniture.
  • All are welcome: students, staff, and Tucson community.
  • Students interested in volunteering and helping grow a U of A Repair Cafe are highly encouraged to attend.
  • When you arrive, you'll be asked to sign a waiver accepting the agreements and acknowledging inherent risks in the event. You can view the Tucson Repair Cafe house rules.

Parking on campus

  • We recommend parking in the Cherry St. Garage (1641 E Enke Drive), which is the closest garage to the Main Library.
  • Cherry St. Garage does have an elevator in the southwest corner of the building.
  • Wagons and carts will be available at CATalyst to transport heavy items.
  • See all U of A parking garage info and locations.
Please note: this event is on a Sunday, instead of the usual Saturday Repair Cafe.
