Annabelle Nuñez has been appointed Director of the Health Sciences Library, and her first day in her new position will be Jan. 5, 2026. Nuñez is currently serving as Interim Director and has been the Associate Director of HSL since 2017. 

Prior to that, she became the first embedded librarian at the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health during her time with the then–College of Medicine Library and has been with the University of Arizona since 2004.
