Early Arizona construction photograph collection

Photographs in this collection are arranged by subject, alphabetically. A majority of the photographs are undated and contain no identifying information, however, a majority of the photographs are circa 1930-1950.
This photograph collection was donated to Special Collections in 1997 by Betty L. Van Dahm. The photographs in the collection were taken by her parents, who lived and traveled around southern Arizona their entire lives. Her father operated a shovel, then a crane, for several different construction companies in the area, including: Austad Steel and Construction, Chapman and Dyer Steel Manufacturing, and L. M. White. The photographs in this collection include construction photography as well as a few personal photographs.
