The Seed Library is a selection of seeds that you can grow in your garden (or containers). It's free to University of Arizona students, faculty, and staff, and the Tucson community. It is funded by University Libraries and the Students for Sustainability Garden Committee.

Where is it?

Seed packets are on a bookcase in the Main Library in the CATalyst Studios open seating area. You are welcome to stop by anytime.

How does it work?

Browse the selection, then choose and take your seeds – it's that easy!

What kinds of seeds?

The variety is usually seasonal, restocked throughout the semester, easy to grow, and great for beginners. Some of the seeds include veggies (tomato, beans, carrots) and flowers.

Want to donate seeds?

Pima County Public Library accepts “open-pollinated, heirloom, and or locally-saved seeds.”
