About the collection The National Flute Association Library collection is located at the Weaver Library. In 1974, the library started with approximately 1000 items. With generous donations, and music from the NFA Newly Published music competition, the collection has grown to more than 15,000 scores. This large library includes special collections of music that have been donated by flutists throughout the years. These collections hold both rare editions and out of print scores. UA students, faculty, and staff and NFA members may check out scores from the collection. Online access Use library search to find music in the collection and access some items online. Several special collections of late 19th and early 20th century scores in the NFA Collection are not listed in the UA online catalog, but separate catalogs of them may be viewed on the NFA website under library collections. These include the Gutkind, Lewis, Medicus, and Nielsen Collections. Need help? Reference assistance is available at no charge. Send your questions to: lbry-asknfa@email.arizona.edu.
