Our unique materials
Help identify, preserve, and showcase archival materials not found anywhere else.
Open to the public, Special Collections is the starting point for in-depth academic research, primary source materials for authors of all genres and anyone interested in creating new knowledge from one-of-a-kind archival treasures.
Ranging from Vaudeville to the Ronstadt family papers, from the political papers of Stewart Udall to the artwork of Charles Bukowski, to the history of the University of Arizona from before the first “Bear Down” – Special Collections is a steward of our cultural and historical record.
Your gift will help identify, preserve, and showcase archival artifacts not found anywhere else. With your help we can:
-
Acquire collections that capture moments of history, culture, and experience.
-
Digitize our collections so that a global community can access the treasures held within the archives.
-
Showcase our collections through a robust schedule of exhibitions and public programs.
