Peer Information Counseling Program
Support students from historically underrepresented groups.
Connect students with peer-to-peer support
Students are more comfortable seeking assistance from their peers. We established our Peer Information Counseling (PIC) Program to support the University’s retention efforts for students from historically underrepresented groups.
Serving as “library ambassadors,” our PIC student workers support their peers by sharing information about library services, resources, and spaces at cultural and resource centers, events, and activities across campus.
With your support, we can help students and library student workers from underrepresented populations develop reference and research skills to overcome barriers.
