I primarily provide Python programming support to researchers across campus, though I also have experience with R and SQL. My background is in using programming for data analysis as well as machine learning, with a specific focus on natural language processing (NLP) and computational social science (CSS). I am currently a PhD candidate in the College of Information Science, where I am working with sociologists and information science researchers to investigate topics at the intersection of science of science and NLP. I am a certified Carpentries instructor and a Posit Data Science Mentor, in addition to previously being a lead instructor for undergraduate programming and data science courses here at UA.
