Women's+ Hackathon goes virtual March 8-10 Feb. 24, 2021 Image We're proud to host the University of Arizona Women's+ Hackathon once again on March 8-10! This non-competitive, free hackathon is designed by and for women and allies to bring together as many voices, experiences, and networks as possible to create tech-driven projects over the course of two days. It's virtual this year and open to campus and community members of all ages. What you should know Most workshops will run on Saturday, February 27 and Saturday, March 6. See the full schedule. Some workshops require participants to pick up free supply kits at the Main Library on campus during lobby hours, 10am-4pm daily. A special event kickoff and celebration of International Women's Day is on Monday, March 8, with an inspiring discussion about this year's theme, Mutual Aid. Keynote speaker, Adela Licona, presents: Art as Coalitional Gesture & Information as Moving Matter. The hackathon and workshops are Monday, March 9, and Tuesday, March 10, 9am-5pm.
