Niko Sanchez named U of A Hispanic Serving Institution Ambassador

CATalyst Studios Digital Design and Fabrication Specialist Niko Sanchez was selected as a Hispanic Serving Institution Ambassador by University of Arizona Hispanic Serving Institution Initiatives (HSII) for the 2025-26 school year which begins in August.
The ambassador program is a one-year commitment meant to cultivate an informed network of faculty, staff, and graduate students who can quickly mobilize and connect the campus and local community to HSII-related opportunities. Throughout the year, HSII receives notifications about scholarships, internships, research experiences, fellowships, employment, travel awards, conferences, leadership programs, professional development, award nominations, funding opportunities, volunteer requests, and more.
HSI Ambassador responsibilities:
- Share opportunities with students, faculty, staff, and the community
- Support others in the application process
- Act when HSII receives requests for quick turnaround opportunities
- Distribute information about HSII-hosted events
- Present HSII at meetings
- Offer guidance on strategies and opportunities to optimize HSII's reach and impact
