UAL staff and volunteers hosted Pause for Paws 11am to 1pm on Tuesday, Oct 8. Approximately 1,200 students stopped by to interact with six therapy teams – a mix of all-time favorite teams and new pet partner teams – who all brought smiles to attendees' faces. This year marks the 12th year of our wonderful partnership with Pet Partners of Southern Arizona

UAL staff were excited to again collaborate with the Associated Students of the University of Arizona (ASUA) Student Health and Advocacy Committee (SHAC), who distributed kindness notes and self-care items such as liquid IV and face masks at Pause for Paws.

The snack study break in Main Library started at 7pm on Oct. 14, and went until supplies ran out. To recharge from studying, students could choose from a variety of snacks, including sweet, savory, healthy, and not-so-healthy options, to accommodate all 328 students who stopped by. Some crowd favorites included Red Bull, Capri Sun, Rice Krispies treats, and bananas.

Thank you

Thanks to everyone who helped make these student activities successful. It's a lot more work than it might seem, and people always reliably step up every semester.
