Love Data Week is an international annual celebration of data during the week of Valentine's Day. It is coordinated by the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR), part of the Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan.

Join us on Thursday, Feb. 12, 11am (online)

Our one-hour online session will help you learn about the University of Arizona Research Data Repository (ReDATA), and how you can use it to archive and share research datasets associated with publications or completed research projects. ReDATA is compliant with University of Arizona retention requirements and funder data sharing policies, as well as publisher requirements for obtaining Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) for datasets.

During the info session, we will discuss:

  • The process for publishing a dataset and getting a DOI
  • Citation tracking and impact metrics (e.g., ORCID, Altmetric)
  • ReDATA's policies
  • Best practices for publishing data and code associated with journal articles
  • Register now

Faculty members and graduate students will find this workshop useful if they are working on a journal publication or finishing a research project and need to archive their data.
