At University Libraries, we currently employ 134 undergraduate and graduate students in multiple departments. Without our student workforce, we would be unable to provide access to essential services.

On December 17, we said goodbye to December graduates during our student appreciation lunch. One of them is Nicolina Nguyen, who worked in the Office of Digital Innovation & Stewardship. We asked her about her experience at the Libraries and her post-graduation plans.

"My supervisors were always so supportive of everything I was working towards, regardless of whether or not it had any relation to the Libraries," said Nicolina. "They were always willing to help with my school and career struggles. I immensely appreciate the continued support through my undergrad experience and through graduation. I will miss everyone dearly! I also really enjoyed and appreciated the frequent delicious snacks!"

Nicolina will graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Studies. After taking a year off, she plans to pursue a master's degree in a criminal justice field, such as forensic science or forensic interviewing.
