User Experience Strategist Bob Liu, in User Experience (UX), Analytics & Assessment, led a workshop at the 9th annual UXLibs 2024 conference in Cambridge, United Kingdom on June 13.
UX in Libraries (UXLibs) is an international community of library workers committed to exploring and embedding UX research and design methods with a view to providing more relevant user-centric library services to its users.
"The workshop I led is called Anyone Can Design: Bring teams together with a design studio," Liu said.
“I introduced the design studio method, which is a lightweight UX activity for library employees to engage their stakeholders, align design goals, and establish consensus with collaborators in the early stage of a project. I also showcased how staff at the University of Arizona Libraries have used design studios in our service and website design projects.”
Liu's presentation is available on the UXLibs website.
