Whether it's for a course project, a thesis or for an article submitted for publication, understanding how to communicate our findings visually is critically important. In this workshop, we'll introduce three different plotting libraries using the Python programming language: matplotlib, seaborn and plotnine. This workshop is geared toward complete beginners who have minimal-to-no experience programming in Python, but may also be of interest to other learners who want to explore visualization in Python a bit more.
This session will be offered in the Data Studios of the Main Library.
To get the most out of this workshop, participants should bring a laptop.
The workshop can be completed online using Google Colab, but participants can optionally have Python installed locally.
