The University of Arizona Libraries Special Collections is displaying a selection of French authors and artists in the Southwest.
Included are photographs of the Southwest by Bernard Plossu (1945-), and of U.S. Route 66 by Philippe Salaün (1943-2020).
Also on view are Paul Coze’s (1903-1974) book on cowboys and rodeos and works by Emmanuel Domenech (1825-1903) describing his missionary efforts and travels in the area.
The free exhibit is open April 7-21, and is located in the Reading Room of Special Collections at 1510 E. University Boulevard, next door to the Starbucks at the Main Library.
Special Collections is free and open to the public Monday through Friday from 9am-4pm.
