Providing access to the results of the nation’s taxpayer-supported research is a priority of the federal government, research institutions, and funders. Public and open access accelerate discovery and innovation, promote public trust, and drive more equitable outcomes. As a researcher and author, you might ask how that will affect the intellectual property rights in your research outputs. During this presentation you’ll learn the basics about copyright and what is (and isn’t) protected. Most importantly, you’ll learn how to manage your copyright and other intellectual property rights while engaging in open science practices.
Zoom link will be provided in the registration confirmation email.
