TCE groundwater contamination collection

The TCE groundwater contamination collection contains the professional research of James J. Lemmon from 1951-1995, with the bulk of the materials created during his time with the Bureau of Waste Control of the Arizona Department of Health Services and then Urban Research Associates from 1970-1986. The collection consists of correspondence, research notes, chemical analysis reports, conference papers, scientific publications, academic articles, and newspaper clippings. In addition, the collection contains photographic materials such as photographs, slides, and photographic negatives.
James “Jim” J. Lemmon (1949- ) obtained his MA degree in urban land use analysis from Arizona State University. Lemmon has worked in the fields of hydrogeology, urban planning, urban development, environmental protection, and public health as a registered hydrologist at the Bureau of Waste Control, Arizona Department of Health Services from 1978-1984. His firm, Urban Research Associates (1984-2007) specialized in environmental compliance, environmental health policy, and environmental assessments, groundwater hydrology, water rights and water quality issues, waste disposal and superfund projects.
