Correspondence between members of the Calvin Stevens family, chiefly sons Albion, 1862-1863, George, 1862-1863, and Herman, while serving in the Civil War. Later correspondence from Herman relates mining and railroad activities in California, the Northwest, Arizona and New Mexico.
