Southern Arizona History Connection, Inc. was founded in 2000. Its mission is to support the activities of historical organizations in southern Arizona, provide monetary support to historical organizations in southern Arizona, and encourage, promote and help facilitate collaborations among historical organizations in southern Arizona.
In 2024, the organization began a grant-funded project focused on gathering oral histories of subjects who are 85 years old and older to capture the stories of long-time southern Arizona citizens who add dimensions to the history of the land, culture, and events that define the region.
