Contains chiefly scrapbooks and correspondence relating to the career of Rollin M. Pease. There is an interesting journal with photographs and clippings from Pease's year working for the Three Forks Mining and Reduction Co. of Honnold, Colorado in the Battle Lake Mining District, 1899-1900, and a brief journal, 1905, from his time at Fort Worth University. Some photographs are present of his appearances in stage productions. Photographs of his retirement dinner include many University of Arizona faculty members, as well as Tucson Mayor Don Hummel, Sam Goddard, and James McKale. Also present are early photographs of Pease family members including stereographs and tintypes. Family photographs include images of his deceased sister in her coffin, 1907.
Pease was a bass-baritone concert artist known especially for his performances of "Elijah." He was a professor of Music at University of Arizona from 1931 to 1951.
