The Musty Book Club records include the history of the book club including schedules of meetings and ten year anniversary; events including lunches at Arizona Inn in Tucson, Arizona, print, and car service; photographs including a drawing by David Fitzsimmons; Donald Dickinson personal files including obituary, correspondence, articles, news clippings; Shaw Kinsley personal files including obituary, correspondence, articles, news clippings.
The Musty Book club was established in 2002 with lunches held at the Arizona Inn in Tucson, Arizona. These events were attended by Amy Rule, Shaw Kinsley, and a member of the University of Arizona medieval history faculty; all of them book lovers. They talk about reading, research, and the appreciation of books from a common thread. However, they don’t consider themselves a “book club” in the current popular sense.
