Typescript (original) letter describing his mining and mercantile activities in Nogales and Ajo (Ariz.), 1883-1931, including his business dealings with Albert Steinfeld, Randall Ore Reduction Company, Cornelia and Rescue Company, C & A Mining Company, and Ajo Consolidated Copper Company. Also includes a letter of transmittal to Bernard Fontana, in which Mrs. George Peterson describes an anecdote about Mr. Sam Clark, the founder of Clarkston, Arizona, and a trip he made from Clarkston to Los Angeles, California.
