About this collection

This collection is comprised of newspaper clippings focused on Jewish individuals, businesses, issues, etc. Clippings were collected by different individuals and include originals, copies, scrapbook pages, etc. Items are arranged into two series based on how they were collected. Series I includes clippings predominantly related to the Goldwater family of Arizona. These clippings are copies that have been pasted onto notecards, with a majority of the clippings and notes coming from the 1850s-1890s. Series II is made up of clippings about Tucson mayor Lew Davis.
