Photocopies of typed transciptions of 20 letters and reports from Franciscans regarding Sinaloan and Sonoran missions. Addressees include Commissioner General Ugarte y Loyola, Bishop Granados, Viceroy Conde de Gálvez, and Viceroy Manuel Antonio Flores.
The main person reporting is Father Francisco Antonio Barbastro, from Aconchi, Father President of the Northern missions from 1781 to 1783. Other writers include Commissioner General Jacobo Ugarte y Loyola, Bishop José Joaquín Granados at Arizpe, and Guardian Superior Father Juan José Saenz de Gumiel at the Querétaro College.
