Author's original typescript and revision, printer's copy, and galley proofs. The book is a collection of Weadock's weekly columns relating incidents of Arizona history.
Jack Weadock was born in 1925 and died in 1970. He served in the U. S. Army cavalry and worked for the Arizona Daily Star from 1923 to 1969. He successively became sports editor, top reporter, city editor, managing editor, executive editor, and assistant publisher. He wrote the weekly column "Desert Notebook" which appeared every Monday in the Arizona Daily Star.
