Undated holographic manuscript of a three act comedy signed by a W. E. Channing. Written in ink, it contains his edits. The play, an adaptation from a French work, is set in Paris and tells about a young widow and her son.
Possibly by William Ellery Channing, 1817-1901, American poet and essayist; son of the minister and author William Ellery Channing, 1780-1842.
