Title II Accessibility
As a provider of web content at a public university, the University of Arizona Research Data Repository (ReDATA) is subject to the updated ADA Title II digital accessibility regulations issued by the Department of Justice (DOJ). The updated regulations require web content, mobile applications, and social media content from state and local government entities to comply with the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. All submissions published in ReDATA on or after April 24, 2026 are required to be compliant. ReDATA staff will assist depositors in making their submissions compliant before and during the curation review process. To request an accessible version of materials published before April 24, 2026, please submit a request. We will respond to you within two business days to provide you an estimate of when the remediation will be completed.
