Books on TV

Local TV loves UA Press! KGUN-9’s “Absolutely Arizona” reporter interviewed David Lazaroff about the human history of the canyon and showed several historic photos from his book Picturing Sabino. Find out the true story of the canyon’s name: ranch daughter, horse, or something else?

Our Novels Make the List

“A map of 1,001 novels to show us where to find the real America” includes two books from the UA Press. Find your America by reading the story by Susan Straight in the Los Angeles Times, or go directly to the Storymap here. UA Press Books featured are a collection of short stories and a novel. To discover El Paso, read The Last Tortilla and Other Stories by Sergio Troncoso.  To discover the real Los Angeles, read The Book of Want by Daniel A. Olivas.
