The University of Arizona Libraries are pleased to join the Open Library of Humanities' Library Partnership Subsidy system. The Open Library of Humanities is an open access journal that publishes peer-reviewed scholarship across the humanities disciplines. With initial funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, it is supported by an international library consortium and has no charges to authors or readers.

"University Libraries are excited to demonstrate our commitment to academia-led, open access publication models such as Open Library of Humanities,” said Ellen Dubinsky, Scholarly Communications Librarian. “Support of OLH aligns with our goal to ‘invest’ in open by funding organizations that advance open scholarship and lead toward a robust yet equitable scholarly publication system."

Open access publishing makes research freely available online, fueling innovation through knowledge transfer. This can be done by publishing directly in open access journals or by archiving publications in an open access repository. The Libraries supports open access to both scholarship globally and to the published work of the campus community.
