Cheryl Gerken co-led UCATT IDEA session on Feb. 27
Course Content Initiatives Manager Cheryl Gerken from Collection Services held an Instructional Design for Education in Action (IDEA) session with Brian Hale, a University Center for Assessment, Teaching and Technology (UCATT) Instructional Designer, on Thursday, Feb. 27.
The online IDEA session focused on how faculty can design a course that supports affordability, ease of use, and student success.
Gerken is a former K-5 bilingual teacher and school librarian with a Master's in Language Reading and Culture and a Master's in Library and Information Science from the University of Arizona. Education and the student experience are central to her work on campus.
