3 – 5 p.m., Feb. 7, 2025
Get your zine on with poet Amber McCrary, author of Blue Corn Tongue: Poems in the Mouth of the Desert, (to be published on January 28), by the University of Arizona Press.
Zines can cover a wide variety of topics, including art, music, politics, personal experiences, and subcultures. Zine-making is open to everyone, no matter your skill level. Zines are for fun, self-expression, or learning. There’s no right or wrong way to make a zine—it’s all about experimenting and enjoying the process!
McCrary will guide participants through layout design and demonstrate how to bind a zine with folds, staples, and other methods.
Stop by any time between 3 and 5 p.m.
