The USS Arizona

Dr. James P. Delgado, an underwater archeologist who participated in the early archaeology dives on USS Arizona and USS Utah in the 1980s, will share his unique perspective as part of programming to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor. He authored the national landmark study of USS Arizona and USS Utah and is a co-author of Pearl Harbor Recalled and USS Arizona. For the past five years, Delgado has served as the Director of Maritime Heritage in the Office of National Marine Sanctuaries.
