During the early 1980s, Yolanda Herrera became the first woman to drive a delivery truck for United Parcel Service in Tucson—but some of her new colleagues made it clear that they did not want a woman in the workplace.

Archive Tucson is a living and growing collection of audio interviews about life and change in Tucson and Southern Arizona. The Libraries' oral historian and videographer, Aengus Anderson, has spent five years interviewing more than 100 people and recording their stories about our city.
