Spaces for instructors

We have several spaces instructors can use at the library.

Request a library space for instruction

If a group study room (2-12 people) doesn't fit your needs, you can also request to use one of our spaces for an instructional session. We have limited capacity, so we are more likely to accept requests for one-time sessions or workshops.

Instead of requesting a space, you can also schedule a library instruction session or contact your liaison librarian for instructional support.

What to know before requesting a space

Before you request one of our spaces, keep in mind:

  • We can accommodate as many as 100 people.
  • Most of our spaces support in-person learning only. If you'd like to host a hybrid (in-person + online) instructional session, please include that in the request form.
  • The equipment in our spaces varies, but can include: an instruction station, laptops, wall-mounted monitors, projectors, whiteboards, microphones, and loop assistive listening systems. If you have additional technology needs, submit the request form to ask what other equipment is available.
  • We're unable to provide technical support for non-library use of our spaces. You'll be responsible for setup before and cleanup after the event.

Review our complete guidelines for using library spaces.
