Rachel Castro
I have two roles at the University of Arizona Libraries: Experiential Learning Librarian and Liaison Librarian to the College of Fine Arts.
As the Experiential Learning Librarian, I provide support to any instructor who wants to incorporate experiential learning into their course with CATalyst Studios as a partner. This may look different from class to class, but I excel in pedagogical design and can work with you to create course-driven, hands-on learning opportunities. For more information about course visits (and some examples of classes I've worked with) see my Experiential Learning guide. Please reach out if you'd like to discuss what's possible with CATalyst Studios!
As the Liaison Librarian for the College of Fine Arts, I support the research and instruction needs of CFA students, staff, and faculty. I can work with instructors to create online or in-person library support tailored to your syllabus and learning objectives. I also provide help with research, will gladly answer your library-related questions, and will do my best to find free access to what you need. I most commonly work via email but can meet in person or via Zoom to discuss in-depth topics. Let me know how I can support your success!
